They used a fab pic of Farrah, but she has a new home downtown.Don't worry though, we have more great stuff coming up.

How Much is that Doggie in the Window...
Seriously. Months with the puppy being perfect, then this.
Can this be fixed? Will my children be this disruptive when they're teenagers too?

Art Installation
Well, not exactly an art installation ... at all. More like, I finally hung new art in my house. Which is no easy task. My house is loaded, dare I say, overwhelmed with art. Every wall has something hung, grouped, paired, or stacked together. So in order to make room for the new art, something had to come down. I have had this super awesome vinyl sticker by Jeremyville on my wall for several years. Totally love it. It took hours for me to put it up. Stressful tedious hours. I swore I'd never take it down. Ever.

But then this starting happening. Not so cute huh? So down it went. After years of me badgering my kids to keep their hands off the sticker, man, they really went to town ripping it down. And up went the art. But of course it's never that easy. I had to clean the walls of sticker residue. Rearrange the art many times. And then patch up those holes. I ended up saving a few pieces of the vinyl sticker. Just couldn't part with it. I think the art looks fab, and I love how the they work together, becoming one piece of art. These pieces are a bit out of my comfort zone. Much less literal than I usually gravitate towards. Spicin' it up a bit.
Now, if I can just keep them all hung straight ... and hang the rest of the art I have stashed away with equalled success.

Hoo Me?
Mine started a few years back. And by mine, I mean my owl problem. I wanted a vintage owl necklace, and scored this lovely number. It was my first owl. It was the beginning ... and it hasn't stopped since. I have my own Traci Hutson piece. The coolest of cool planters. An owl from South Africa - guaranteed to hypnotize with these crazy metal eyes.Another necklace from my daughters.Plus, an owl to hold all my necklaces, from same said daughters. And, my most recent, a new one this Christmas - perfectly amazing!Hoarders should have a special owl addition ... on us.

Can someone say, Owl Intervention!?
I've got it bad! This owl collecting simply must stop. It's beginning to get a little creepy around here. Like the crazy cat lady, except ... it's owls.
It all started with this owl planter a few years ago ... Then came these cute little pieces by Traci Hutson. Then a set of vintage coasters, I just had to have. Swearing to be the last owl entering my house.

But then one day at Room Service, there was this owl light. With marble eyes. That was amazing. So I bought it, of course. And yes, it is still, amazing.
And who could resist these great 70's owl pillows (via craigslist). Swearing no more!!!
But then, and this is it, swear ... amazing print for my kids' room. Found during E.A.S.T.
I am declaring that no more owls shall enter my house, ever again. Because really ... it's gotta stop.*There's the owl Christmas ornaments I have ... but we won't go into that. Because then, I'd look real crazy ... hoarders crazy.
